Basketball Challenge
Have you ever done a basketball challenge with your brother or sister? Hi my name is Mason and this is my maths challenge. So how did we do this? We set up a bucket and measured 2.5m. This is where we threw the ball from. We had 1 minute to see how many times we could get the ball in the bucket. I did this 5 times. After the 1st attempt I tried some trick shots. That's why I missed a few more. Watch my videos to see how i went.
I have added a bar graph which shows the number of shots, balls in and balls missed for each of my attempts. The line graph shows the number of balls in and missed and the pie graphs show the percentage of shots in and missed for each attempt. I am working out the mean, mode and range at the moment and will post my results soon.

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun challenge although I couldn't access your videos unfortunately. Did you do this with other family members? My son and I had lots of basketball practise during lockdown. He always smashes me! Great job.
Hey mason, Brooke here I really liked your slide you gave me a lot of information about yours and Mr Bell's, maybe next time you could let us watch the videos because I had to request access to watch, but other than that it was good, great work!!!
